The Reagan Ranch now owned by the Young Americans Foundation, a conservative non-profit focused on encouraging teenagers and college students to embrace conservative principles. We were given a tour but, unfortunately, were not allowed to take pictures in the house.

Old School Hope Ranch

The kinder have flown home and we have relocated to Hope Ranch. Nearby we found an unspoiled old style Hope Ranch hacienda with an intriguing story that we are slowly uncovering. A highly reliable source indicates this property is owned by an eccentric billionaire who is rarely present. It is also rumored that the large barn in the lower picture was built to house rare and collectible cars.

As everyone knows, Goleta represents the very best of Southern California culture and stands as the jewel of Santa Barbara County. So there is certainly no better way to have a family reunion than in Goleta!
