Leaving Santa Barbara

My father's old barn is now a rustic home.

Walking the hill at La Entrada. Oak trees have taken over but the road and many fruit trees are still there.

UCSB from More Mesa.

One of several fires that started while we were there. By Friday the sky was overcast with smoke.

MCBMMBZ Closure

Donated to charity and on its way, still bearing the hole in the passenger door from the reckless fire hydrant.

August in Santa Barbara

TCM (en traje de KSU) voluntarily poses for a picture with his grandmother.

The new 3771 State Street. No visible change to Collector's Corner.

A bizarre twist of fate: Whilst delivering a folder from my mother to the old Lincolnwood house the MCBMMBZ broke down. It has been sitting across from my parents' old home now for three days and counting. Extensive mechanical diagnosis and consultation with the local MBZ dealership has established that it will take a minimum of $300 to fix, with a strong possibility of repairs totaling $1,500. This has sealed the MCBMMBZ's fate. Stay tuned, devoted blog followers...
